Dave and Marlene Bisset |
After matriculating
in 1966, Dave joined the now defunct South African Permanent Building Society,
rose through the ranks of the building society and banking sector until
retiring in 2009 as a training consultant for Nedbank. As he felt that he still
had much to offer the world of work at a relatively young age, he accepted a
position as a “gofer” at a mining company called Frazer Alexander where he
worked until he finally retired in 2016.
Marlene matriculated
in 1967 and subsequently worked as an administrative officer for various
companies. However, she preferred the role of homemaker, caring for Dave and
their children.
The Bissets heard of
Warmbad Renaissance from John and Colleen Meredith (U50). After visiting our
village, they were hugely impressed by the attractive surroundings, security
and value for money. They duly sold their property in Benoni and moved to
U123.
