Social activities in our village have resumed this year under the able leadership of Marlene Bisset and her Functions Group on the understanding that the prescribed COVID-19 protocols should be followed.
It should be noted that the main purpose of these events is to enable residents to meet socially. If a profit is made, it is set aside to pay for something that is to the benefit of the village and its residents. In the past, the village was presented with a new stove, an urn, a refrigerator, curtains and venetian blinds for the Nes and various kitchen appliances.
