Richard (77) and Anna (72) Schneider were born and bred in a small town near the city of Wiener Neustadt in Austria. Anna became a draughtswoman and Richard, a mechanical engineer. They were married in 1966 and have one married son who lives in Wiener Neustadt.
The couple moved to South Africa in 1971 where Richard took up employment at ESKOM.
After Richard and Anna retired, they relocated from Johannesburg to a smallholding in Bospoort, Bela-Bela. Here they lived for fifteen years before recently moving to U16 in our village.
Although they are newcomers, they have already met a few other residents and look forward to making many new friends. They are impressed with the village security and are living happily in their comfortable home in pretty surroundings.
Richard and Anna spend much of their time visiting the local Aventura Holiday Resort to bathe in the warm water pools. Anna is a keen canasta player and asks that other people who enjoy card games, to call her on 072 665 2919.
