President Cyril Ramaphosa announced on 22 March that South Africa will
enter a nationwide lockdown with effect from midnight on Thursday 26 March as
part of efforts to curb the rapid spread of COVID-19 in our country.
The Management Committee subsequently issued a circular in
support of our President’s appeal, announcing that all formal village
activities are to be suspended until further notice.
A brief overview of the ways in which our residents are dealing
with the lockdown, appears below.
