George (68) and
Elize (65) Yeo lived in Mokopane for 33 years. George worked in the motor
trade, latterly at Midas Vehicle Parts & Accessories. Elize worked for
various employers as an administrator.
George and Elize Yeo
This charming
couple considered various retirement options, including the Western Cape. However, the windy weather
conditions did not appeal to them. Neither did a detailed internet search
provide them with satisfactory venues. So they made up their minds that
the Bushveld was where they wanted to be. Having come to that decision, Bela
Bela was almost an obvious choice.
They are very
pleased that they settled for Unit 40, Renaissance. Apart from the enjoyable
weather conditions, they love our attractive, well-run retirement village and
its friendly residents. In fact, both emphasised that their relocation to Bela
Bela felt like a homecoming.
George and Elize
have a simple, effective attitude about getting along with other people, i.e.
friendliness brings about friendliness in return.
Elize enjoys cloth painting and crocheting, while George dabbles in picture painting. He is
also a keen woodworker and is thankful for Louis van Wyk's offer to use his
workshop.
The couplehave three children and seven grandchildren.
